Abstract text:
The major goal of this paper is to study the fundamental concepts of structural dynamics and of system identification methods, respectively, applied in the field of civil engineering with the aid of MATLAB programming environment. In the process of dynamic modeling and analysis of constructions, the notion of system identification has been introduced to come to our aid. These processes are based on simplified or equivalent models of the real structure, and in order to obtain the best results that are closest to reality various methods for estimating the model’s parameters can be used.
